The Human League will be playing with ABC!
 This is great news for any fan who hasn't seen the band since they last toured here, which was back in 2003.I have bad news unfortunately, for anyone wanting to purchase ticket for that concert only, they have to wait until some time after May 6. Any time before that and you have to purchase tickets for 4 more events. All tickets are regular price. I don't know what I'm going to do. I want to see the HL and ABC. I don't want crappy seats. Yet I'm not too keen on having to buy tickets for other events that I'm not going to be able to see.

Even though it clearly implies you need to buy tickets to FIVE EVENTS, I only selected Human League and it accepted my order. Tickets have already been received via email!
And I'm right up front. Get those tickets NOW!! Wake up and smell the fascism!

REMEMBER:
Even though Ticketbastard says you have to purchase 5 events, IT DOES NOT APPLY TO THE HUMAN LEAGUE SHOW. Just put your order through for that show only (ignoring the 5 ticket notice) and your tickets will be in your email box in a few minutes! I got right in the front (behind the orchestra section)!!  Wake up and smell the fascism!

I got my tickets. A few days ago actually!
By the way, my friends who have been to the magic castle say you need a membership to go there. I'm so happy I'll get to see them again! I wonder if they'll do another autograph signing after the concert. The Hollywood Bowl is a HUGE venu and that may persuade them to just go on their merry way after their performance. Either way this is going to be cool!

Yes, you need a membership to get into the Magic Castle, but not the Magic Castle hotel.
And if you stay at the hotel, you will find "the doors of the Magic Castle club flung wide open". Wake up and smell the fascism!

YAY! I got my tickets finally. I bought 4 of them so I couldn't afford to get the REALLY good seats (where Earl is!) but mine aren't that bad and I'm sure I'll make 3 people very happy! Not as happy as me though!!! Woo hoo!
I hope Altered Images is one of the "to be announced" bands - I'm crossing my fingers!! They are playing in the UK w/ Haircut 100 so I would actually love to see H100 also. Just PLEASE no Flock of Seagulls! |

I'm just waiting if there are going to be more League shows in the USA Then I can combine it with my vacation this year !But if there is going to be an English synth 2006 tour then I'll have to skip this trip. I'm allready going to Denmark in June but La Today is great p.s. offcourse I meant > it will be my first time visiting the USA

I am strangely tempted to fly across the pond for this! (And make it into a break/holiday, obviously).
Any other [UK] boys and girls thinking of going over?! The only thing putting me off is if it is less than a full THL set. Anyone know? I should get sponsorship from Gotharama, in order that I can kidnap Earl and Devin and bring them back to the Gotharama dungeon of electro(pop) torture!

Devin: That is most kind of you, thank you. That definitely increases my chances of coming over a fair few notches
Devin & Earl: And of course if both of you lovely electro-poppers are going to be happily kidnapped and transported back to the UK (do you actually realise quite what Gotharama would do?!  ) then maybe I really should sort myself out and come over! I wonder if any of the other UK Secrets Massive could be tempted into a break there? One thing holding me back is I might have to go to a conference in Spain just a few days before then (I know, it's tough...). On the other hand, if I am going to go, I want to get the tickets now to get good seats, so maybe I should buy a couple at the front anyway and have done with it. Eeek... will work on this carefully over Easter! |
