Genk Human League
These English syntpopgroep in 1977, during the pick years of the punk was set up in Sheffield. Initially is called, the group The Future but the name is already changed in The Human League, inspiration obtains them from groups as Kraftwerk and Roxy Music. Their very first EP was brought out in 1979. The large opening comes there with they album Dare! , the most successful album It contains among other things hits The sound or the crowd, Love action and their greatest hit Don t you want me, worldwide hit In 1990 it became quietly around the group over here but with the eighties revival The Human League are still hot. 2007 busy again and more to read for the link belowe, but happy they make also time for a stop in Genk. Now almost certainly going to this one,
I virtually live in France anyway and this is much more my scene than Skegness. (Ok I'm a snob ).Ill nip over on the EurostarCos THL are on so late I'll be absoutely hammered on the lovely Belgian beer by then. But I'll try and get some decent pics and do a review. I'm sort of expecting a rerun of the Falkirk setlist but you never can tell with continental gigs and (dare I say) a more sophisticated crowd. Planning to see Karma Police then THL.
